About

Does anyone ever really read these things? I started writing when I was a wee little thing, hardly able to craft my letters. My first stories were always about horses and unicorns--great black stallions protecting their herds from predators and humans, wild horses roaming through lakes and mountains, and racehorses winning the Triple Crown.

In junior high, in order to handle the angst and loneliness that come with puberty and the first school dances, I wrote about the "perfect cheerleader" student named Candy and her bad-boy-from-the-wrong-side-of-the-tracks boyfriend, Hayden. Their love and loyalty helped me navigate the rocky emotions and disappointments of a teenage girl.

It wasn't until high school that my writing became something more serious. Writing has always been a form of escape, from journaling to writing fan fiction to original content. So, when I started a story about a young girl from our world who fell into a realm of magic, a la all the cliche, I realized it wasn't enough. Katherine the princess of Emerie was born. That grew into a quartet, of which only the drafts of the first two books were completed.

The story of Seltic originated from my gaming on World of Warcraft. It wasn't until after I broke off a serious 6-year relationship when I really dove into writing Seltic's story and brought him true love in the form of Fae. To handle my heartbreak, I put my characters through hell and gave them the strength to find their way out the other side.
Although I'm notoriously shy, get in touch if you have any comments, questions, suggestions, or just want to say hello. I'd be happy to hear from you and know I have a few fans.
